Values of women

Women-as the word is uttered, there  comes different picture of them and different thoughts about them in the minds of men, for one it might be his mother, for some their daughter and for some their sister. But what comes to the mind of the arrogant human beings who harass women every day? Have these perspectives of women ever come in the minds of those? Such an harassment which took place at Delhi recently for a twenty three year old daughter of India who had lot of dreams and commitments  shook the whole world, after suffering for thirteen days she died.
Can anyone suffer more than her? The monstrous contours of the attack and the multitude of lapses that allowed the bus to drive around South Delhi undetected while Amanat and her friend were being battered drove thousands of students and activists to the streets.
A girl with her own ambition and wishes is now no more just because of six men. But why those ambitions went in vain?
Is it her fault that she was born as a girl?
Is it the fault of government as everyone say now?
Is it the fault of those six brutal men?
Before thinking of these faults it is the right occasion to think on the ethical values that must be considered for women.
Where the world vanished which saw woman as god ?
Where are the people who worship them?
Is there a country without women, is that possible? Then how come such rude things happen in this society?
It is the wrong thought about women that they inferior to men make such incidents!
“Women should be respected as well! Generally speaking, men are held in great esteem in all parts of the world, so why shouldn't women have their share? Soldiers and war heroes are honored and commemorated, explorers are granted immortal fame, martyrs are revered, but how many people look upon women too as soldiers?...Women, who struggle and suffer pain to ensure the continuation of the human race, make much tougher and more courageous soldiers than all those big-mouthed freedom-fighting heroes put together!” Anne Frank, The Diary of a Young Girl
we should not forget that history in a witness to the women who have in the past demonstrated unique leadership capabilities. Razia Sultana, Rani of Jhansi, Sarojini Naidu and Indira Gandhi are motivation examples of women empowerment. Earlier, most women were able to demonstrate the leadership qualities only on their home fronts, as in Indian society man has always acted as the master of the scene and the decision regarding the issue of empowering women has always been taken by him. God has gifted women with compassion, tender-heartedness, caring nature, concern for others. These are very positive signs which imply that women can be leaders. Though some women have shown their mettle yet a large number of them have to sharpen their leadership qualities in various ways. In order to help women to be in limelight, they need to be empowered. Therefore, empowerment of women is the prerequisite to transform a developing country into a developed country.
The economic empowerment of women is a vital element of strong economic growth in any country. Empowering women enhances their ability to influence changes and to create a better society.
I would like to conclude with the following words, "Women as the motherhood of the nation should be strong, aware, alert and as well as destructive to those men who influence them in wrong means ".
